If you're an expert in editing videos, this site is not for you. You probably know all this stuff and even more. However, any feedback and advice will be greatly appreciated.

My name is Constantin Gabor and I'm an amateur filmmaker, working with small cameras, a Dell laptop and easy to use video editing software (Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus). You can read my story (cough - irrelevant bragging) on Magix Magazine as well. :)

This website is a collection of tutorials on editing HD videos, related DIY projects, specific video gear and accessories. I basically share with you everything I know about shooting and editing videos - amateur style, while also pushing to limit to get that professional look.

What you need to know is that you don't need expensive gear to do awesome videos. A compact cam will do just fine. Especially now as technology is evolving at such a rapid rate - compact cameras have incredible image quality and sophisticated functions, competing with some of the low end DSLRs.

I prefer small cameras because I also love going outdoors and I simply don't feel like carrying too much photo-video gear.

So this site concentrates all the video editing resources that I developed on Highball Blog, which covers other topics like video gear reviews, outdoor gear reviews and mountain biking shirt designs.
